This service is suitable for new clients for whom we don’t hold any translation memories or for when simply a gist understanding of the source document is required.

Your source document is thoroughly prepared by a dedicated project manager to give the machine the best chance of producing an accurate translation. It is then translated in its entirety using neural machine translation. The machine’s output, however, is not looked at by a human linguist and is provided to you “as is”.

This is often a good starting point for new clients who are looking for a cost-effective translation solution and/or those who simply need a fast translation. It will reduce the initial cost outlay compared with translating your document fully from scratch using a human linguist. However, there would be no return on investment as the translated content cannot be updated into a translation memory for use in future projects. In other words, it is a “one-off” translation. Furthermore, the accuracy of the output cannot be guaranteed as it won’t have been checked by a human linguist.
