
Darren Verdi-Ashton
A graduate of Liverpool University, Darren has worked in the translation industry since 2004 and has a wealth of knowledge enabling him to assist companies with their language needs.
Keen to support language skills and development in the West Midlands, Darren is on the advisory panel for Aston University. He is also an active member of the Association of Translation Companies.
Outside of work Darren’s passion is for rock music, playing guitar and gigging regularly.

Sarah Horne
Having a keen interest in languages, Sarah has a BA in Language Studies and German, as well as an MA in Translation Studies.
After living in Germany for a few years, Sarah joined the translation industry in 2015 upon her return to the UK.
Organisation and to-do lists are second nature for her, as her patient husband can attest!

Philip Odell
Formerly employed by Adobe Systems, Philip has a wealth of experience of Adobe’s Creative and Technical suites of software.
In particular, his knowledge and experience of InDesign and FrameMaker allow him to quickly reformat translated documents of any size, as well as manipulating bitmap and vector artwork with Photoshop and Illustrator.
In his spare time, Philip is a keen photographer and also enjoys relaxing out on the golf course.

Laura Clark
Laura is a graduate in French and Spanish, with a Masters in Translation Studies from Aston University.
Although she has only been working in the translation business since 2018, languages have formed a major part of her life for over 15 years.
Outside of work, her main hobbies are aerial fitness, heavy metal and swimming like a mermaid!

Ovraj Singh Sidhu
Ovraj graduated with a BA in French, German and Chinese Mandarin and an MA in Translation Studies from the University of Birmingham. He is the newest member of the team and is keen to start his career in the translation industry. Outside of work, his hobbies include walking, reading and politics.
